Performance project
An individual in plush rust covered work wear is acting out seemingly meaningless tasks. In an unknown space called The Hole. They are focused on a light bulb hanging from the ceiling. As scenes of them on the floor attempting to escape the body suit in exhausted attempts play in and out.

Reily Wilder is a performing artist with a focus on wearable sculptures. She is currentlya student at Texas State university in San Marcos, TX. Reily was born in San Antonio,Tx raised in Fredericksburg hill country. She uses her background in Theater and costume to create experiences within gallery spaces. Often using sound movement andvideo to heighten said environments. Diving into created character studies using herown life and melding it into another separate entity. Inspired by the connection thatmany have to puppetry due to growing up with Jim Henson’s Muppets and internetdarling Don’t Hug me I’m Scared. She recently was in her first student gallery titledSurreal Slumbers 2024 in San Marcos.
